The Empirical Labs PUMP is a compact 500 Series compressor with all the clever attitude, control, and musicality you would expect from the makers of the Distressor, Arousor, and Mike-E.

Originally imagined back in 2014, PUMP brings serious ELI heritage into a single-channel module designed for everyday studio use. It is fast, flexible, and full of character, making it a natural choice for vocals, drums, bass, guitars, synths, and anything that needs a bit more shape, punch, or control.

The front panel gives you an input level control with clip indicator, 8 selectable compression ratios from 2:1 to 20:1, and digitally stepped Attack and Release controls for easy recall. The release section also includes a soft opto-style mode for smoother, more relaxed compression.

A switchable 110 Hz high-pass filter helps keep low-end energy from driving the detector too hard, while the AtMod function slows the initial attack response to let more transient detail through. The result is a compressor that can tighten, lift, grab, and enhance without flattening the life out of the source.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
