The Altec 1612B delivers classic FET-style limiting with a character all its own. Built around a gated FET compression topology, the 1612B not only captures the punchy dynamics of its more famous counterpart, but also adds unique features that make it a versatile tool for modern studios with a taste for vintage tone.

In addition to its role as a musical and colorful limiter, the 1612B doubles as a discrete microphone preamp, making it a two-in-one powerhouse. It features separate transformer-balanced mic and line inputs, each with their own signal path and tone-shaping potential.

PSU is switchable between 110V and 220V, currently set to work on 220V. Fuse has to be changed for 110V operation. EU power cord included.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
