Tascam GA-40 Quad Sync Noise Gate

The Tascam GA-40 Quad Sync Noise Gate is a vintage 4-channel noise gate from the early 1980s.

This sturdy 2U rackmount unit offers four independent gate channels with straightforward knob controls (variable attack, release, and threshold) for each channel, plus a “Quad Sync” linking feature that lets you pair channels (or all four) for synchronized gating on multi-mic sources. Every channel also supports key input.

It sports the classic Tascam aesthetic – a brown faceplate with color-coded knobs – reflecting the rugged build quality of that era’s pro audio gear. The GA-40 delivers reliable, no-frills noise reduction for tightening up drum tracks, eliminating guitar amp hiss, or cleaning up vocal tracks, all while adding a touch of retro character to any rack.

PSU works on 220V, EU power cord attachesd.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
