API 3124+ 4-Channel Mic Preamp #1

The API 3124+ is a premium, compact 4-channel mic preamp. It features the RE-115 K mic input transformer and the proprietary API output transformer found in the 512c and across the API product line. Each channel is equipped with an internal 48-volt phantom power supply and -20dB pad switches for both mic and Hi-Z inputs, conveniently located on the front panel.

The 3124+ offers up to 65dB of gain and an output clip level of +28dBu. The Hi-Z inputs on the front panel connect directly to the op amps, allowing low-level inputs like guitars or basses to be amplified without the need for a matching transformer or direct box. These inputs can handle levels as high as +20dBu, making them suitable for keyboards and other high-level devices. Mic preamp outputs are located on the rear panel with male XLR connectors.

The PSU is switchable between 115/220V, currently set to work on 220V (0,25A fuse).
