The Vanguard Audio Labs V4 Gen1 is a versatile large-diaphragm condenser microphone built around a custom-voiced 34 mm edge-terminated dual capsule with ultra-thin 3-micron gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragms. With selectable cardioid, figure-8, and omni patterns, it is designed as a dependable studio workhorse that covers a wide range of recording duties with ease.

The V4 Gen1 combines low-noise solid-state circuitry, a JFET-based design, premium components, and cryogenically treated signal-path parts for a polished, professional sound. Useful extras such as a -10 dB pad and 100 Hz roll-off make it easy to adapt to different sources, while the open-weave headbasket helps maintain an open, natural character. Finished in deep gloss Pinot Noir with polished nickel trim, it is a microphone that feels as refined as it looks.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

All shipments are fully insured.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
