Developed in collaboration with top recording studios, the Pearl C-12 was engineered in Sweden in the late 50's to handle the full frequency range without falling victim to breath blasts and low-end rumble.
A built-in low-frequency cut below 120 Hz keeps diaphragm movement under control, eliminating unwanted pops while tightening the sound.
This design includes a legendary rectangular capsule
as well as an AC701 tube, and delivers a cleaner signal-to-noise ratio, making the C-12 a natural choice for film, dialogue, and vocal work. Smooth, reliable, and easy to operate, it’s a classic tool for capturing voice with clarity and presence.
Tested and serviced by Drefahl in June 2025.
PSU works on 240V, EU power cord attached.
