Built around Swiss-engineered microphone preamps, this card offers up to 78 dB of gain, exceptional clarity, and an impressive 139 dB A-weighted dynamic range. The design is based on Merging’s 3rd generation dual-gain topology, delivering very low distortion, excellent transparency, and a wide usable gain range. Each channel features individually switchable phantom power, polarity inversion, low-cut filtering, and impedance selection, along with remote or local mic/line level switching for flexible operation.

Dedicated analogue direct outputs on every channel, taken post mic preamp, make it easy to feed external processors without giving up routing freedom inside the system. External DI boxes are often unnecessary, which makes this card especially practical in compact but high-end setups.

Full remote control, advanced signal routing, MIDI remote support, and auto-mute protection during power cycling all add up to a design that is as refined in daily use as it is on paper. Connectivity is handled via two 25-pin Sub-D connectors, with careful calibration and quality control ensuring consistent performance across all eight channels.
