The UBK Fatso is one of the most sophisticated analog processors ever built, yet it’s wrapped in one of the simplest, most intuitive compressor interfaces available.

Like the most iconic dynamics units in audio history, it offers one-knob control across seven distinct preset compressor types, each with its own unique grab and character. The process is as easy as picking the flavor that suits the track, then dialing in more or less of the effect. Even without deep technical knowledge, it’s possible to achieve polished, musical results in seconds.

Inside, the UBK Fatso houses four powerful discrete processing stages, working in series to build its unmistakable sound:
1. Saturation & Harmonic Overdrive – adds analog tape-style density and grit
2. FET Compression – versatile, punchy dynamics control
3. Warmth (High-Frequency Limiting) – tames harshness and smooths the top end
4. Transformer Output – adds weight, depth, and subtle color

Because these stages are serially linked, each process interacts with the next, creating a cumulative effect. The result can be as subtle as gentle tone shaping or as extreme as complete sonic transformation - always musical, always analog.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
