It delivers the weight, depth, and harmonic richness people love in vintage preamps, while keeping the noise floor low, the build quality serious, and the workflow simple. Each channel features two discrete Class-A gain stages, custom Sowter transformers, dual-stage metering, selectable input impedance, polarity reverse, phantom power, and output loading for extra tone-shaping options.
The front-panel Hi-Z input is routed through the input transformer via FET and BJT buffering, giving guitars, basses, synths, and other instruments a big, full, record-ready sound. A TRS insert point also lets you place a compressor or EQ before the output amplifier, making the MP-2NV especially useful while tracking.
Built like a proper studio workhorse, the MP-2NV fits two channels of serious “big iron” tone into a single rack space.
