Genelec 8240 SAM Active DSP Studio Monitor single piece

Genelec 8240 is a early generation of SAM speaker that was in production between 2006 and 2016, and was replaced by the 8340 line of speakers. But, as it usually is with Genelec, the products are timeless and fully usable even decades after production.

The 8240 employ the early version SAM calibration technology that allows to automatically align every monitor on the network in terms of level, timing, and equalisation of room response anomalies.

Although, 8340 allows a more precise calibration with more filter points, the 8240A is still a great monitoring solution for recording studios, post-production houses, digital mastering facilities, radio and TV broadcasting.

The 8240 speaker has been serviced and tested by Retrosonic Pro Audio engineers and even though has some scratches, as shown in the pictures, is in excellent working condition.
The speakers work on 230V. EU power cables are included.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
