Fender Rhodes Mk1 73 Stage with VV Stereo Vibe Preamp
This Rhodes Stage 73 Mark I #3578 was born on Monday, October 30th, 1978 and it comes alive with a Vintage Vibe StereoVibe preamp, unlocking a huge tonal and dynamic range.
This one has seen some miles, showing a bit more wear and a slightly bouncier feel. Needed lots of voicing and dynamics work, very big tone and dynamics range now with the preamp.
Fully restored and serviced:
Extensive voicing work for a big, open sound
Many grommets replaced, harp strike line improved
Tuned and cleaned throughout
Preamp and sustain mechanism carefully adjusted
Leg mounts replaced
The result? Really hot now, a fiery and expressive player’s instrument which is responsive, raw, and unmistakably vintage. Complete with crossbars and leg protection caps.
