Functioning primarily as a straight delay unit, the DeltaLab DL-4 offers an extensive delay time of over half a second. Users can precisely select delay times from as short as 0.25ms to as long as 512ms without any compromise in signal quality. These delay times are available in three distinct ranges, with the added advantage of continuous, tunable sweep capabilities between adjacent steps.

The DL-4 maintains the full audio bandwidth (up to 15KHz) and an expansive dynamic range (over 90dB) at all delay settings. For those in need of extended delay durations, the DL-4 can be expanded by connecting an optional memory module, providing an additional two seconds of delay per module.

In addition to being an exceptional delay unit, the DL-4 serves as a single-channel special effects processor, offering renowned effects such as flanging, doubling/chorusing, and echo through the introduction of feedback and a Voltage-Controlled Oscillator (VCO). This opens the door to vibrato, tremolo, and chorusing effects. The DL-4 even delivers distinctive effects that cannot be replicated by our own DL-2A. At no point is there any compromise in sound quality, with both bandwidth and dynamic range maintained across all delay settings.
