There are many legends that have surrounded this unit over the years.
The original version was made by the Gerd Schulte company in the 1970's in Germany, where it quickly became almost a must have effect on many prominent rock and early electronic records. Hence its other name: Krautrock phaser.
This unit was truly an experiment and, as rumor has it, didnt even have a manual. Diffrent sound sources cause different effects.
The four dials on the front panel: Modulation, Feedback, Oscilator Period and Phasing amplitude allow to dial in an unexpected surprise every time.
The back panel also has some serious controls: Bypass has a tooggle swithc port and Amount and Rate can be controlled by expression pedals, which make this phaser an incredibly versatile tool in any pedalboard.
The unit has 2/4/6 pole phasing toggle switch on the back. Also Internal LFO (Auto)/ Manual toggle switch. "Manual" position turns Phasing amplitude into manual phasing dial.
"Auto" switches on the internal oscillator that controls the phasing.
This unit works on 230V, EU power cable is included.
