Brauner Valvet Cardioid Tube Microphone

Brauner Valvet is a tube microphone based on the already legendary VM1, which provides a unique, finely balanced character.

Valvet is ideally suited to be used as a spot microphone through small construction and the use of a new type of microphone suspension.

The Valvet produces excellent recordings even under difficult acoustic conditions due to its directional characteristics, leaning slightly towards hyper-cardioid while maintaining a high level of back rejection. In omni though, it becomes the perfect choice for ambience recordings.

The Valvet produces recordings with wonderful spatial qualities and pleasing proximity and warmth. It uses the most common directional characteristics - omni and cardioid - and has a phase reverse switch for the use with non-standard pre-amplifiers.

Excellent working condition, good visual condition. PSU is switchable between 115V and 230V, currently set to work on 230V. EU power cord included.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
