Bock Audio 241 Cardioid Tube Microphone

The Bock Audio 241 Microphone features a distinct combination of high-quality components, including a custom-made German capsule by Bock Audio, a vintage-style hand-wound audio transformer an NOS tube within the microphone amplifier, and a custom-built outboard power supply also crafted by Bock Audio. Notably, the BOCK 241 offers a unique "brite/normal" switch, which offers two distinct sound profiles within a single microphone.

When set to "Bright," the microphone delivers an unfiltered extended high-frequency response, characteristic of modern high-end condensers. On the other hand, switching to "Normal" provides a less bright, more vintage-style high-frequency response, making it more forgiving for singers with sibilant voices or those in need of a warmer tonal treatment.

The BOCK 241 also naturally exhibits strong proximity effect without excessive boominess or overwhelming low-end frequencies. Its midrange is exceptionally smooth and doesn't necessitate post-recording equalization.

All in all, the BOCK 241 is arguably one of the most outstanding and cost-effective options for lead vocal microphones available on the market today.

PSU is switchable between 120V and 220V, currently set to work on 220V. Fuse has to be changed for 120V operation. EU power cord included.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
