Neumann M582 Tube Cardioid Microphone Pair. Fully restored by Andreas Grosser

Since it was first released in 1958, the M582 became one of the most sought after small diaphragm condenser microphones.

The screw-on capsules open a wide range of possible polar patterns and textures. And it seems as the microphone itself captures the true essence of the instrument it is pointed at.

This pair of classic mics has been carefully serviced by Andreas Grosser, who gave it a complete rebuild.

The capsules are NEUMANN M62 with serial numbers#2310; #2701. M62 are cardioid screw-on capsules that are considered to be quite bright and crispy. They were given new nickel membranes, new resistors.
Technical and acoustical measurements were made to ensure the quality of the refurbishment.

The package also includes 2 pcs AGES C582 Microphone cables, 7,5meters each and new Grosser made AGES NG 582-2 Dual power supply. This PSU operates on 115-230V, depending on the fuse installed. Currently set to 230V operation. EU power cord is also included.

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
