Neumann M249b (M49) Tube Condenser Microphone

N52t PSU and Blue Yoke Mount.

This mint piece of the most loved Neumann model M49´s broadcast version of M249b multi-pattern tube condenser microphone comes with an AC701 Tube and KK47 Capsule.

Original N52t PSU, cables and Blue Youke Mount are included. The mic has been overhauled and the capsule re-skinned at Thiersch in 201 and not used since.

All original inside. M249b has 7-pin Tuchel connector that was employed as it had superior EMI/RF rejection for use in broadcast situations. The M49 and M249 are best known for their use on Miles Davis, Barbara Streisand, Duke Ellington, Simon and Garfunkel, and countless other classic records. These mics have an incredibly rich and round tone that has the ability to make even harsher sounds much more pleasant and warm.
